Installation Instructions for Outlook Add-In

Filed under: OggSync Overview — OggSync @ 3:33 pm

Install by following these steps:

  1. Download the software.
  2. Run the exe file which will Unzip to an installation directory of your choice.
  3. Run the setup.exe file in that directory. (Do not run the .msi file directly, as you will be missing important Microsoft patches.)

At this point, the OggSync for Outlook Add-in is installed. You can access your new OggSync toolbar by clicking on the “Calendar” section in Outlook and looking for the Toolbar there.

  1. I have installed Oggsync 3.11 for Outlook as per your instructions but it is hiding from me. There is no toolbar in Outlook 2003 or any program I can run. If it works I will subscribe but I think I need to be pointed in the right direction. I have a couple of Google calendars I’d like to sync.

Sorry to be such a twazzock.

  3. Hi, I installed OGGsync and I have Outlook 2003 SP2 (French). After the installation, I can’t find the toolbar…

    Thanx for helping me.

  5. If you double click the oggsync button bar it will pop up to the task bar at the top. It took me 3 reinstalls to notice that. D’oh …

  6. To see the sync button, go to your calendar…it won’t appear in the INBOX section.
