Cingular Samsung BlackJack
For the month of Feburary, we’ve been using the Cingular Samsung Blackjack extensively and it seems to work well.
Use the links to the left (point your IE in your phone directly to http://oggsync.com and then click on the OTA downloads, easy to install and get started.) The free version of OggSync provides a great start and full unlimited syncing with one of your Google calendars.
See detailed features for a complete breakdown of the differences between the free and pro solution.
There were some recent changes to the Google API (with recurring events) if you have a version prior to 2.12, please upgrade to the latest. (The software should notify you that there is an update available.)

I have installed this successfully, and have connected to my account, and setup the calendar to sync. After it connects, it finds nothing to sync. Is this an issue with the blackjack?

Comment by OggSync — February 9, 2007 @ 12:21 pmhello. i have downloaded the free software to sync google mail to my blackjack. it works nearly perfectly. the only thing is that it does not transfer all of my calendar. it seems to lose dates in a random way. any help would be great. thank you
[ Try the latest version, Google’s API changed somewhat recently and certain events weren’t being accepted. - Editor]
Comment by john d — February 12, 2007 @ 3:23 pmYes, the blackjack is working after removing a rouge event on my Google calendar that was causing a sync error. Also, when I was able to sync, the screen says 0/1 changed, which I took to mean nothing was sync’d, but in fact it did sync the event.
The support team at oggsync is amazing and was extremely responsive to my inquiries, and I’m just using the freeware version.
Comment by Mike Franklin — February 12, 2007 @ 7:50 pmJust installed on a Blackjack also. OggSync appears as last item in Start menu.
Comment by Sid — February 13, 2007 @ 10:49 pmInstalled OggSync on my Blackjack. When opening app, I get the following error message:
“This application requires a newer version of the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework than the version on this device.”
Is there any way around this?/What is the best way to move forward?
Comment by Chris — February 20, 2007 @ 11:05 pmLooks like I was jumping the gun, and going straight to the OggSync 2.13 download. OggSync Support contacted me immediately with instructions.
Talk about customer service…
